History
The Cactus Story began in the early '90s when Deborah Livingstone, founder,
began researching skin, its function, condition, care and active
ingredients. This was motivated by Deborah's personal need to discover
a real solution to the harsh Australian climate.
Today the parent company The Livingstone Clark Group Pty Ltd manages the non-core
activities allowing Cactus Skincare to concentrate on providing the
best formulae in the world.
Over the past fourteen years Cactus Skincare has enjoyed considerable test-market success. Channels of
distribution have varied in order to establish product and line viability, and both local and overseas channels have been penetrated
through surgeries and salons in Australia and plastic surgeons and dermatologists in the USA. Recently, new markets have opened up for
Cactus Skincare in Japan and Indonesia.
Cactus Skincare has attracted considerable consumer loyalty as a result of the efficacy and
quality of the product. Plastic Surgeons have endorsed and sold products to post procedure clients for maintenance of their skin's
recovery after surgery and as ongoing care and maintenance of the skin.
Cactus Skincare as a stand alone product answers the call of current consumer buying trends in that its formulae incorporate the use of natural, non
synthetic plant extract and plant derived ingredients whose performance efficacy on the skin has been significantly proven in use in cosmetic

Philosophy
1. Seals skin to moisture loss.
The loss of water from the skin is one of the major causes of the
development of fine lines and wrinkles forming on the skin surface. In
youth, sebum coats the skin and protects from moisture loss. A problem
for baby boomers is the sun damage caused to most skin during the 60's
and 70's when it was popular to suntan. this has left Australian men
and women in the category with dehydrated, sun damaged skin and
producing less sebum than is necessary for moisture protection.
Consequently collagen and elastin fibres tend to shrink and the skin
forms lines and wrinkles on the surface.
Cactus Skincare seals and protects the skin from moisture loss and simulates youthful skin

performing this task.

Cactus Skincare uses high concentrations of natural antioxidants like Vitamins
A, C, E, Grapeseed Oil, Orange Oil, Wheatgerm Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil,
Avocado Oil, Carrot Root Oil, Fruit Pulps and Enzymes to assist healing
and restoration in the skin and to fight free radicals.
